The Shield EasyCAT allows to exchange on the bus EtherCAT® 32 byte in input and 32 byte in output, configurable up to 128 byte. The communication is totally managed in Hardware and the exchange of data with the sketch Arduino is made through a library .
It can support three types of synchronization: Free RUN, SM Sync and Distributed Clocks.
This EasyCAT kit is supplied without the 3x2 SPI connector, which is supplied separately, and already has the tin jumpers to have the SPI on pins 13, 12, and 11.
This version of the EasyCAT is ideal for use with compatible Arduino cards that do not have the 3x2 SPI connector, such as the STM32 Nucleo of the Mbed ecosystem.
